Giridhar Kamath, DO, is Surya Immediate
Medical Care’s chief physician. Dr. Kamath, a board-certified
family practitioner, comes from a diverse medical background
in medicine, having most recently served as a physician
at the Reading Hospital Emergency Department in Reading,
PA.
Since completing his residency in 2003,
he has practiced medicine in a variety of family practice-related
roles in primary care offices, nursing homes, hospitals,
and urgent care and occupational medicine centers.
Dr. Kamath received his medical degree
from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, performed
his internship at Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel
Hill, PA, and completed his residency at Mercy Suburban
Hospital in Norristown, PA.
He is a member of the American College
of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Osteopathic
Association, the Urgent Care Association of America, and
the American Medical Association.
